SCOTT CHESNEY
Scott Chesney, a two-time
world traveler and a navigator of life with
paralysis for two decades, has been
described as a “profile in courage,”
“a
master of living life to its fullest,”
and “a commander in change,” while
addressing over one million people in 38
countries.
After awakening to paralysis at the age of
15 from a sudden spinal stroke, Scott has
amassed a resume of transformational
experiences, powerful insights, and
inspiring stories that cut to the core of
the human spirit. He has become a nationally
and internationally recognized workshop and
keynote presenter, and his positive and
inspiring messages have changed countless
lives. His insights have been coveted and
applauded by Fortune 500 corporations,
hospitals/rehab centers, associations, and
even an audience at The United Nations.
As a student of life, Scott has researched
over 70 complementary medicine modalities
and has studied the transformational
techniques of the world's exceptional
teachers of human behavior. He has combined
their wisdom with his own to create a
personal blueprint for navigating life which
has also made him a highly sought-after
Personal Empowerment Coach for adults,
teens, and families. Scott balances his work
with plenty of passions that include
skydiving, walking on fire with his hands,
swimming with wild dolphins, meditating, and
playing a variety of sports.
Scott is currently writing his first book,
which he plans to promote in a third world
tour. He sits on the Board of Trustees of
Children's Specialized Hospital in New
Jersey, the Advisory Boards of the New
Jersey Disability, Health, and Wellness
Program and the Northern NJ Spinal Cord
Injury System, and is the Co-Chairman of the
New Jersey Chapter of the Buoniconti Fund to
Cure Paralysis. He is a Seton Hall
University graduate with a B.A. degree in
Communications and holds a Master's degree
in life experiences. Most of all, Scott
cherishes the moments spent with his wife
and two children in New Jersey.
